Idiocracy Watch is political satire from a uniquely Canadian perspective.
(cue ominous soundtrack and bold narration)
“In December of 2008, at a time when Canada’s then Prime Minister Stephen Harper falsely declared the prospect of a coalition government to be ‘illegitimate’ and ‘undemocratic’, two old friends met to have a beer (or two). Those friends–Jason and Craig–decided it was time to venture into relatively uncharted political territory. Their brainchild was Idiocracy Watch, an online satirical comic strip aimed at Canadian politics. By stripping down the images and ideologies to which our politicians cling, and by pointing out the methods they use to ineffectively lull the masses into a false sense of division, Idiocracy Watch stands on guard for the Canadian every(wo)man. Politically irreverent, yet politically relevant, Idiocracy Watch pulls no punches every Monday.”
